Ferrari Show's Vision GT Car for Gran Turismo 7
Since 2013, the Gran Turismo Vision project has encouraged some of the biggest automakers in the world, such as Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar, to envision what their vehicles may look like if there were no restrictions from the actual world. Gran Turismo 7 will release on December 23rd, according to an announcement made over the weekend by GT series creator Polyphony Digital. This entry from Ferrari is the newest to the Vision stable.
The Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo, like its predecessors, boasts amenities that would put any production car to shame. Ferrari equipped the concept vehicle with "a more extreme version" of the 499P hyper car's V6 engine, which will be used in the vehicle at the upcoming Le Mans endurance race. In-game, the single-seat hybrid will have three electric motors that together provide more than 1,000 horsepower.
There isn't a lot of information available about the powertrain, but it is a hybrid engine that uses Ferrari's most recent V6 and generates over 1,350 horsepower.
The wheel was designed utilising joysticks from a game controller as inspiration. With a steer-by-wire steering column, the wheel itself has no mechanical connection, but the designers intend to evoke all the driving sensations when you operate it.
